Dear Coalition,


Land Acknowledgments are a good first step for non-Native people who don't even realize they reside on the unceded land of Indigenous Peoples. This video is an example of a performative land acknowledgment that doesn't include actions.

 
 

The first 3:39 minutes of this video gives you an Indigenous perspective by Corrina Gould. She is the Co-founder and Lead Organizer of Sogore Te Land Trust and Tribal Spokesperson for the Confederated Villages of Lisjan. She is speaking at a conference on Rematriation: Indigenous Women's Work to Recover, Remember and Heal.
